Who are The Dark Defenders?

Some heroes fight out of a sense of justice, or because they feel that their powers gives them a responsibility towards the world. Others do it for the excitement, or because they enjoy having others look up to them.

And some fight because they are driven. Driven by a lust for vengeance, or a lust for blood. Driven by the memory of a dark past, or an even darker future. Or because it's simply all they know how to do.

For those, the Dark Defenders were made...
